Harry Ferris moved his family to Central Oregon in 1996 after 10 years of building custom homes in the Willamette Valley, where he spent four years as a Director for the Salem Homebuilders Association, hammering out guidelines and core classes to level the playing field in the industry. He started drawing house plans at the age of 15, and it became a passion he carried throughout the years ahead. After spending three years in the Union, he decided to strike out on his own in 1986.
After a few years in Central Oregon, Preston Ferris graduated from Sisters High School and soon became a key player in the family business. With a passion for building, an instant eye for detail, and a drive to excel, he mastered all phases of construction. His hands-on experience and deep industry knowledge shape every project he takes on.
Today, Preston owns Ferris Building & Design, growing the company into a trusted name in the region. Harry and Amy continue to contribute their expertise in drafting and bookkeeping, ensuring the business remains family-driven.
